Hi...apparently,just came back from Cambodia.Damn tiring, but it was worth it.Well,I visited bout 20+ temples, some of which were buddhist,Hidu, and others both(mixed). The most famous of course, was Ankor Wat,1 of the 7 world wonders. It was nice, picturesque, with alot of carvings, incscriptions and statues.

What disturbed me most was the cambodian killing fields(S21),where Camobodians from an organisation called Khmer Rouge actually tortured and killed their fellow cambodians, especially those who were working for the government at that time. They were captured and brought to a school where it was converted into a prison. The highly ranked officials were given their seperate cells while the commoners were cramped into a class room,of which could hold bout 5 or 6 smaller cells. The way they tortured those people was terrifying. From using claws to pull the people's finger nails out,to drowning the prisoners in barrels of water, and even-(No offence 2 u ppl/galz but this is true)-using two clamps that look lyk nut crackers to clamp some of the lady of the lady prisoners' tits. Can go check if u want, not joking. Those prisoners that did not die at the school(prison) were sent to the killing fields. There, usually they were made to dig their own grave/hole and were killed almost instantly.Others were locked up for a few more dys then were killed. The Khmer Rouge soldiers used different methods of killing their victims. Some used guns, but bullets were expensive those days,so they used other stuff like knives, wooden poles and other farming equipments. On the whole, about 2 to 3 million skulls/bodies have been found.Till today, when it rains heavilly, when some of the soil is washed off,u could still c the bones of the victims all around the killing field. When I was touring the killing field site I also stepped on some of the bones on the floor, those were hard.Spotted a whole ribcage of a dead person too,but the whole ground was scattered with bones, then thin layers or soil and sand on top so u could still see the bones.I asked our tour guide y dunt they remove all of the bones, and he said their government wants to preserve it as a natural heritage to show the tourists what has happened during the time.
Ok...I think I want go le,post more soon, and more pics too.
